EPS Design
AES currently conducts design seminars throughout the country to engineering firms, DOT's, counties, cities, and associations interested in the use of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) for lightweight fill applications. AES works closely with EPS manufacturers throughout the country to provide design guidance to their clients in the use of Geofoam for project specific applications.

Experience
Failures are not intentional. They come from inexperienced designers who are trying to do their best but do not know all the aspects and what it takes to give a quality and a complete EPS design. Our staff has experience in reviewing EPS plans and specifications in which we identify and recommend solutions to potential problems. We provide construction procedures and designs as needed.
Teamwork
AES can work together with the project Structural Group or Geotechnical Group to complete the Design Team.
Know the Limitations
AES has more design experience than any other design firm in the country and has worked closely with the testing agencies to understand and know the limitations of the EPS.
